Overview

The Keikyu Main Line runs from Sengakuji, one stop from Shinagawa, down to Uraga Station in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, southwest of Tokyo. The Keikyu Main Line is connected to Haneda Airport via the Keikyu Airport Line and Narita International Airport via the Asakusa and Keisei lines.

Haneda airport is the closest airport to Tokyo – and getting there is a breeze! You can zip from the city to the airport in 10 minutes from Shinagawa, one of the main stations on the JR Yamanote Line.. There are actually two ways to get to Haneda Airport by rail: via the Tokyo Haneda Airport Monorail (see my blog here) – or on the Keikyu-Haneda-Express.

The Keikyu Main Line forms the backbone of the Keikyu Network and connects Sengakuji Station in Tokyo with Uraga Station in Yokosuka City. It is one of the major commuter lines for people heading into Tokyo from Kanagawa prefecture and is a major rival of JR and Tokyu Corporation.
